The Rock Hill High School Marching Band’s 2026 program is entitled “In Frame”. In Frame is a visually and musically driven production that explores the idea of confinement, limitation, and ultimately liberation. Centered around the concept of individuals trapped within metaphorical and physical frames, the show follows a journey of self-discovery as performers struggle against boundaries, challenge expectations, and gradually break free into a world of greater expression and possibility. Using Erik Satie’s Gnossienne No. 1 as a musical thread and culminating with Björk’s Jóga, the production transforms from moments of restraint and introspection to powerful displays of freedom, revealing that growth often occurs when we step beyond the frames that define us.You can see this show in exhibition and competition at Nation Ford HS, White Knoll High School, the Olde English Festival of Bands, and the SCBDA 5A State Championships. We invite you to come out and experience “In Frame”!
